TIGER Line Data is Getting a Facelift

The United States Census Bureau is working to make the TIGER Line data more cartographic, that is, to more accurately represent the spatial geography of street features and boundary data.

Starting around 2004, selected counties have been converted to this more accurate spatial data. Below are are samples of the Las Vegas area from TIGER 2000 and from TIGER 2004.
